The first place I remember seeing syndicated reruns was on WTEN-TV out of Albany, NY, which ran the show at 5:30 PM, and I also saw reruns on Boston's WLVI-TV when visiting my grandparents. I remember for years thinking that "A Clubhouse Is Not a Home" was the series premiere episode, because they were all moving in together then (It was the 3rd episode produced but 6th episode aired.) and I'd never seen (or heard of) "The Honeymoon". I distinctly remember seeing "The Voice of Christmas" for the 1st time ever on WTBS on Dec. 22, 1989, 20 years after it was filmed, and a couple Season 3 episodes, "The Private Ear" & "Power of the Press", I don't remember seeing until after I bought my first Brady book, THE BRADY BUNCH BOOK, in 1990.

It took me awhile to buy the full series on DVD. I gladly bought Season 1, which had some nice extras, including commentaries on a few episodes, but I cancelled my Season 2 order after reading that commentaries which Barry Williams had already recorded w/ Chris Knight & Susan Olsen were not included for some (stupid) reason. I eventually obtained all the seasons either as gifts or when their prices came down. I still usually watch the show on MeTV rather than on DVD.Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00483417885845331990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1130871072830136009.post-43925634048848590192019-12-16T20:25:30.285-08:002019-12-16T20:25:30.285-08:00About 7 years after your post, you can now have yo...About 7 years after your post, you can now have your wish. There is now a DVD collection of the entire original series, THE BRADY KIDS, THE BRADY BRIDES, THE BRADYS, the theatrical & tv movies. Since I already had the series & movies on DVD and transferred the tv movies from tape to DVD, I had no need to buy it myself, but a friend indicated interest, so I've bought it for him (off Amazon), and I'm sure he'll let me watch any part I'd like to see.Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00483417885845331990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1130871072830136009.post-11537408596126996582017-04-24T11:31:54.633-07:002017-04-24T11:31:54.633-07:00I actually filmed "Keep On" to Super 8, ...I actually filmed "Keep On" to Super 8, but always had a hard time trying to play the record when watching the film. Eventually got a pitch-control turntable and could force it to time out! Of course we also used to cassette-record the audio and that was another way to have a soundtrack. Who would have dreamed back then that we could watch at our leisure?Gabriel P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02803574130633343719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1130871072830136009.post-2043394144002306632012-07-03T20:58:26.379-07:002012-07-03T20:58:26.379-07:00I love the DVD format also... but I do wish the st...I love the DVD format also... but I do wish the studios would make it easier, sometimes, to get the whole package.

I'm thankful I taped A Very Brady Christmas on TV, for example, since the only way to get that movie is to get the complete series... which I had already bought, in individual seasons.

Also, selfishly, I'd love the chance to have "the whole Brady canon"... the Kids, the Brides and the Bradys, at least. The Variety Hour, being from different producers, isn't a must, though it'd be nice. And I'd imagine some Brady Kids episodes - particularly the one with Superman and Wonder Woman - wouldn't be cost-effective to put on a set.Craig Byrnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02915982732984809425noreply@blogger.com
